Our Story

Bathroom Fitting with Expertise and Care

Founded in 2022 by Alex Minay, The Home Improvement Co. started out offering handman services in Darlington. Expanding rapidly and with satisfied customers asking for more services, Alex has grown the business into a complete bathroom fitting and renovation service across County Durham, Darlington and Middlesbrough.

What began as Alex’s one-man operation has since become a true family enterprise. Today, his brother, mum, and step-dad all play key roles in the business, bringing their own skills and dedication to every bathroom project. Together, they’ve built a trusted local company grounded in family values, teamwork, and a shared passion for helping people improve their homes.
